About Us

My Story starts with my Grandad in Northern Ireland. Growing up with stories of his dives and a tragic accident that led to the loss of his diving partner whilst operating at depth. This peaked my curiosity around diving and what it could be. About a decade after that I joined the UK Military. Serving for 9 years I found myself posted aboard with some spare time on my hands. During my move I met a guy who invited me down to the local BSAC Club. ESBA 120S. Run by a team of veterans that now reside locally. They brought all the military banter but civilian application to diving which was a great welcome feeling. The Diving officer had the old school quick whip and no nonsense attitude. His Buddy in and out of the water less so. Still, military precision just more on the humorous side.  This was a great place to finally scratch the itch and get into the water. Immediately after the tri-dive. Hooked. From that point onwards, i got further into my training. More friends and colleague's showed up to learn. Over time I've built up my diving arsenal. Now i want to bring the same style and application to the UK. Diving is a great hobby to get into, our team wants to open the door for the younger generation whilst supporting those that serve and have served. Bringing us nicely to the Name- DIVE GB | GREAT BRITISH DIVERS. Great Britain has plenty to explore and dive. Our team will organize trips all around great Britain and provide opportunity's to get in the water to explore. A gentle nod to the diving heritage of this island. We hope to Dive with you soon!
